Arthur is an attorney advising in the intellectual property and entertainment division of Pia Hoyt. Arthur has worked extensively with Mr. Pia over the years. In addition to being a lawyer, Arthur is the Head of Distribution, Excel Entertainment and Product Director, Film at Deseret Book. Arthur is an adjunct professor in Brigham Young University’s Theater and Media Arts program and currently works as the head of distribution for Excel Entertainment Group, a film distribution company wholly owned by Deseret Book. He has been a producer on four feature films under the Excel Entertainment banner.

Prior to leading Excel, Arthur was a partner in a documentary production company called MirrorLake Films in Salt Lake City where he produced work for BYU Television and an independent documentary entitled Children of Egypt that followed young revolutionaries during the Arab Spring.  A graduate of the University of Utah’s College of Law, Arthur began his film career clerking at New Line Cinema (Lord of the Rings trilogy, The NotebookElf) in their business and legal affairs department. Arthur practiced entertainment and intellectual property law at Stucki Steele Pia Anderson & Rencher in Salt Lake City for four years before taking on producer roles at BYU Television (Studio C) and MirrorLake Films.
