Steve manages all aspects of intellectual property for clients throughout the country. With a background in physics and electrical engineering, Steve has secured patents involving software, artificial intelligence, electrical engineering, automation and mechanical technologies.
Steve also successfully applies his tech and prosecution savvy to patent-infringement lawsuits and post-grant proceedings, and also helped achieve successful results in civil litigation more broadly. Before joining Pia Hoyt, Steve practiced in Hawaii and then in Utah at a large national law firm.
